Description
The RCO40LP is a low pressure heavy duty wire rope cutter designed for subsea deployment in severe working conditions. The open sided design allows for easy positioning on the wire by ROV while the blade shaped anvil increases the grade of rope that can be cut.
The open faced cutting tool has been designed specifically for cutting into long lengths of wire rope in a crisp and simple action. The shear power of the cutter makes it suitable for cutting wire rope, cables and umbilicals. Designed without the need for a separate anvil this open cutter is particularity useful in confined spaces.
The tool is engineered from the highest quality alloys and is polished and nickel plated for added corrosion protection. This high quality construction requires little or no maintenance throughout its operational lifetime. Replacing the cutting blade or seals are simple tasks.
